tinted/smoked headlights

so I just installed a new chrome grille and purchased tint to smoke out the headlights, I'm kinda curious to see if anybody has tinted or smoked headlights and a chrome grille. I'm nervous to install I don't know if it would take away anything from the other lights or chrome. any pics or suggestions

 

I put vinyl tint on the corner portion the headlights.







While I personally wouldn't tint over the headlight's themselves I do like the OEM smoke headlights.

 

I paid too much for my LEDs to cover them up with tint film.

 

My headlights will remain as bright or brighter as intended so I guess I'm not going to join the "cool" crowds anytime in the foreseeable future. I personally think they look cool when done right.
