Ok. I have a set of tinted tail lights that I plan on putting on my taco. I wanted to know what lights I should get to replace the factory lights.? I want them to be brighter so that it shows through the tinted tail lights so I wouldn't have any problem with people not being able to see the brake lights. Thanks guys.

It really depends how much you blackout your lights, typically most people here in louisiana who have done that to their lights during the day and night you can still see your lights just fine, sure they wont be as bright as without the tint but you can still see them, just as long as you dont do more than a few coats or completly black them out to where you really cant see anything in them anymore.

^^ Like he said, the light output all depends on how many coats of tint you spray on, and how heavy each coat is.

I put two light coats on mine. That was just enough to give it a tinted appearance without them really looking "blacked out".
