    I agree with you guys. I think tail lights would look better if they did a Black Tail Light Mod instead.

    The other poster mentioning the lumens has it accurate. As long as it puts out enough light, then there would be nothing to convince a court...

    Black cars are more dangerous than red cars because at night they are a darker color? Then I would suspect people would randomly crash into parked cars when they drive near them.

    There is no logic in this legal argument, unless the guy spray paints his tails, then he is stupid and would get no love from the judge.
    I've read numerous posts and have yet to see anyone have a problem with this.

    I will say this though, with enough coats of VHT, no light is getting through, which would then produce a car that isn't up to the motor vehicle codes. Even with that, a driver behind you would have to show that he couldn't see your car at all, which is a stretch. When there is severe conditions here such as fog or heavy snow, I can't see people's normal tail lights until I am up close anyway.

    I agree with you, but how will you be able to prove it produced enough light when the evidence is smashed into a million pieces? :laugh:
