Thanks. Yea they are proud of stuff around here. I was gonna go with 20% but the cops love to write tint tickets around here also. They did the front windows first and it still wasnt close to the back. After the back ones were done and the 10% strip was put on the windshield it looked like it made the front ones darker...

Ha the Auburn police could care less about the tint on cars.

You are lucky then... I would go with 20% all around and a 5% strip on the front.....

Did 20% on all windows w/ a 5% strip across windshield. Guy charged me $140... He f'd up front windows just a bit (barely notice unless I tell you) so he refunded my cash. Fronts will need to be redone in a couple years I'm sure. I think this combo looks really good but kinda dark for the AZ nights.

I had my entire windshield tinted on the Lexus I sold to buy the Taco. I have no idea what % it was... pretty light, but it made a dramatic difference in the way the car looked. It was difficult to tell the windshield was tinted, but b/c it was blocking light from coming into the car it made all of the tint look darker.

If you're in Birmingham and want your windshield tinted, PM me. I'll let you know the place that does it. It's $100, and he won't give you a receipt.

I just got my front two tinted for $75 and that included removing the light tint that the dealer had put on. They used 20% and from the outside it matches pretty well, but from the inside it looks a little darker than the back windows.

$175.00 for 20% on all five windows. Previous all clear glass, and my fronts match the rear perfectly. :D

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
    lower % means darker.

I do believe the percentage corresponds to the percentage of light getting through.

That weather get you up early this morning lents?

Correct, I believe it is the % of light that comes thru the film.
