Thanks guys.. It came together pretty good. I was gonna buy some fancy flush mount LEDs for back-up lights but I was happy I could make my old ones work, saved bunch a mulah

At least there will be less 'obstacles' now with the clear cutting that was done at RC  haha

Those lights look pretty good on your bumpa.. The ones I was looking at were $55 a piece:eek:
Il stick w/ the Wally World specials for now and upgrade down the line..

Saturday looks like it's shaping up nicely, should be a good turnout and weather looks good. Gonna be MUDDY!

Nice looking taco :). Did you paint your front grill or did you buy a color matched one? I have the same truck sans 4WD and was going to derp the grill surround black, but I really like the color matched red!

I painted it myself. Scuffed up the chrome first, wiped it with acetone, then sprayed it with... Duplicolor Sunrise Red. Haha. It was the closest match I could find at the parts store and it actually came out really good. You can't tell the difference at all:D .. Painted the chrome on my corners lenses with the same paint. Just got lucky with the match I guess.

You can get the right paint on ebay or automotivetouchup.com.

Rausch Creek on Saturday was a great time!! Nice showing of some pretty sweet Tacos! Truck did great, need to bash in the front pinch weld moar.. again lol. Beat on the sliders a bit but that's what they're for, and surprisingly the skids didn't take much abuse. Still really happy with the 255/85s. Excited to get back to RC, always have a blast out there. Maybe I'll try to make it to the FJNE meet next month to show them what a proper 1st gen can do  and definitely the next NJDB meet inJune/July.

Here's the only pic I got..

On Sunday I cleaned the hell outta the truck, dropped all the skids, even the LCA skids which have been on for just over a year now.

Next up is some AP UCAs that are on their way :) and maybe I'll tackle the LCA bushings while I'm up in there:eek: .. It never ends.. Aaaand I love it!

Haha, awesome :). Thanks! I am going to try the plasti-dip with glossifier since I already have it laying around. I can always peel it off if it looks like garbage.

Haha yea, I thought we'd meet up at lunch but we had a few snafus on trail 13 which held us up... Hope to wheel with you at the summer meet, maybe we should get an all 1st gen group together! There's a solid group of us. Greg should have his SAS done by then and maybe you'll get your lift :stirthepot: judging from your pics you guys hit a lot of the same difficulty trails that we did so no reason we can't all wheel together

GL with it hope it comes out nice

She was a champ! No issues at all other than belt squeal and the usual tranny problems. Wheeled like a champ! Spring will be busy, gonna bedline the whole thing soon and then sliders. I went full retard this last trip and faired well, no more rocker panel damage even on the blacks. Passenger quarter panel may not have faired as well :anonymous:

Ha ironically I'm buying greg's coilovers for my lift. As much as I hope to have it on by then something tells me I won't. Been aching for a street bike again extremely bad so that's priority number one.

I think a 1st gen only group would be awesome. We would put all the second gen's to shame. :p I still am surprised how well these trucks do with some armor on stock suspension. We hit all blues all day and only had a hard hit or two on frame/sliders on 23.
