Push button 4wd. We push the button for 4H, then shift the stick into 4low.

Tipicotaco - How much total lift are you running in the rear? Is the wheelers 5pack stock height, then you added the 1.5 progressive and 1in lift for total of 2.5in in the rear?

I'm currently running the stock leaf packs with the wheelers 1.5 progressive and overload for about 2in of lift. the AAL settled in and the back is sitting about .5in lower than the front. I was thinking of getting the 1in lift shackles but am not sure if my 5100s in the rear are long enough. so wanted to see if I go the 10in 5125 like yours and 1in lift shackle if it will work out.

Thanks! Yea like Mike said it's a button on the shifter for 4wd, the TC is manual shift, and since I did the Blue Plug mod I have 2hi AND 2lo, then just hit the button for 4wd
I'd say that I have about 3.75 lift in the back. Hard to tell when I had such a worn out suspension to begin with. My rear fender flares sit about 40" from the ground w/ 265/75/16s. The 5pack gave me about 2" over stock, the shackle another 1", then the AAL probably 1.75".. It's settled in nicely, especially w/ the topper, high-lift, and a tool box in the back; leaving me with about 3.75".

The 5100s that came with the lift from Wheelers were getting over-extended after the AAL, that's why I got the 10" 5125s.. Now I have plenty of droop but added longer bump stops so I didn't bottom them out.

I think that if you add the 1" shackle the 5100s will def be your limiting factor on droop. 10" 5125s will fit but you certainly run the risk of bottoming them out considering you still have a stock leaf pack in there and I suspect are much softer that the Alcan/wheelers pack. You will need longer bumps for sure. I would recommend getting the 1" shackle, then disconnecting the 5100s you got and measuring for new shocks based on your droop/stuff numbers. Might be able to get away a 8.5" 5125.

I plan on doing a ubolt flip and shock relocation in the future so I figured the 10" would serve me well for some time.

    Hope that helped a lil

Yea helps a lot. Thanks. After I posted the question I also contacted all pro to ask about their standard lead pack and shock length and they recommended 9-9.5in Max for their 3in lift so about 8.5" sounds about right. But I thought the 5100s were already about 8 or 8.5? Or am I wrong?

TBH I actually have no idea what the stroke length was on the 5100s that I originally got from Wheelers, can't find the p# either.. I'm thinking around 7.5":notsure:..

Maybe give Wheelers a call next and see what they have to say

Yep, just unplug it. I put some heavy mil plastic over the plugs too and electrical taped them off to prevent corrosion. It is a very useful mod!

This past week I addressed a few little rust areas on the undercarriage and did some painting. Threw on the skids and km2s. Also replaced a valve stem that got destroyed last trip to RC. Then took a nice scenic cruise up to High Point State Park with my wife and dog. Beautiful weather and beautiful country!!

got a trip to Rausch planned for this upcoming wknd, should be a great time, pics coming soon!

Wheeled w/ some members at Rausch Creek on Saturday. Weather coulda been a bit better but we made the most of it. Got a lil bit of trail damage to start off the day, but least I got it out of the way early.. .. @Wheelspinner @Rebelimo need a band aid too! http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G4R5XBE/ref=asc_df_B00G4R5XBE3805952?smid=A28O7XSAH2IEOK

I'm gonna try to pop the dent from the inside then touch up the paint. If it looks like shit I might end up doing bed liner on the rockers and the fender flares to match.

Also got to check out @ToyRyd04 fresh SAS and the thing is no joke! One seriously high quality build and attention to detail! It was awesome wheeling with him.

Yea looking like that's the route I'll go with. I banged out a lot of the dent today but no way I'm gonna mess with painting it to match. Think I'll sand it a bit and spray a little paint to prevent rust, but then go with a textured liner up to the bottom of the body line.

Gonna have to take off the sliders first, prolly have to put liner on the door sills too

I'm considering doing a color-matched Monstaliner instead of black b/c the black always fades and that would drive me nuts. Gotta look into it some more, but wanna pull the trigger b4 the weather turns

The seller only had the PS..

I've got some color chips coming from Monstaliner to see if it will match the Rad red. Hoping that their color 'Read my Lips' will look good otherwise I'l end up using black.

I'm gonna take off the sliders this wknd and clean them up a bit; they've been pretty abused lately. This way I can easily roll on the liner once I make a decision and get the stuff.

Also my TW Wardens will be here tomorrow so hopefully I'll get them installed next wk along with an alignment. :woot:

Gotta get my windshield replaced soon too.. Sheesh. Glad my wife just got a great new ER position, sugar mama FTMFW!! Lol

Got my tires delivered this wknd. They look and feel really good. The full remold (B2B) seems to be very well done. I like the Treadwright Warden branding on the side. They have some seriously deep tread and thick Fn sidewalls. I went with load range D but shipping info said 54lbs each so they're pretty heavy. I'll maybe get them mounted nxt wknd/wk after I replace the PS outer TRE.

Finally got my rubbers mounted. Balanced out pretty well. They measure out at about 31.5" mounted with weight on 'em. Put the best of the old Wardens on my spare. Got an alignment too. Rides smooth.

Look at you all motivated and shit! My truck hasn't moved since Rausch, it's just sitting in the yard dripping gear oil.
