As for #10... Look at your VIN number and see if it matches one of the VINs on the attached TSB. It's a transmission update to help correct the weird shifting. I had it done on my '16 and it shifted way better and gas mileage improved. I now have a 2017 and have an appointment Friday to get the TSB done to this one. It's not a "fix-all" for the weird shifting but it definitely helped in my experience.

You can also have the dealer disarm the chime altogether.

Most dealers won't touch that for liability reasons.

The seatbelt is one of those that has to be done by dealer or Crista. Not thru head unit settings.

Too bad almost none of these tips & tricks apply to me since I have a SR base. Oh well, still a taco at the end of the day.

You can change the volume of the chirp. At its loudest setting you can hear it 300-400 meters/yards away.

Also Canada. Can't you just press and hold the seek buttons? Works when playing music.

On the headunit, go into settings. I think there's a "vehicle settings" tab or something like that. You can adjust volume, lights, etc there. It's in the manual too.

I don't remember seeing that as an option. It might only be on the nav head units. I have the one that uses the scout GPS companion app. I'll check it in the morning.

the setting is there. i must have missed it in the manual because it's referred to as a "buzzer" instead of a chirp. also, to get into those settings, the vehicle has to be turned on for a few seconds. it was greyed out at first.

I don't know if this is the best place to ask this question but being there is a lot of Techstream customization questions here I decided to start here first. It is about the security system. I verified (locking car and opening from inside) that I don't have an alarm system on my vehicle. Also the indicator light flashes immediately after turning key off (not steady on for 30 seconds). The question is what happens if I enable the system with Techstream without installing the hardware (GBS and hood switch?)? Will the alarm go off by arming and opening the door?

You may have had this answered already: I got the Incipio wireless charging case that has a battery built in as well. Works good thus far with no issues. Case isn’t the strongest but does protect from drops.

Answered a few posts back. It's in vehicle customization in the stereo.
