    Purty dang shure.....

    Something like: Apps> Settings> Vehicle> etc, etc....
I did mine so they both lock when you shift from Park.
I forget the other options, but No Lock has to be one of them...

You have to go find the buzzer and wire a horn to it

I believe that "buzzer" is on the pass. side near the fender and firewall.... !! Replace it with a horn OR run wires to the existing horn OR disconnect it like Cuffs.... All good options.... How about one of those horns that play Dixie,,?? hehe

Mine is off and I get the parking lite flash.. I think I changed it in the settings

I've looked through carista. There is no option to change it to a home of the horn instead of a chirp from the chirper.

Usually people get it to do their turn signal blink count and various other things like the seat belt alarm. Someone on here somewhere mapped out all the menus one time. It's free to download and I think you can see the paid features but just can't use those to make changes. It should ask you to pay off you try to use a paid feature.

There’s also a Toyota form you can check box and you can have the Service Dept do it for you for free.

If you’re extra lazy like I am and you’ve installed a trailer brake controller, you can start the engine by pressing the engine PTS button while the brake controller manual brake lever is activated. Extra handy if you install the brake controller in the left side cubby as seen here...

No more climbing in the truck or bending over to push the brake pedal by hand on those cool mornings. Yes, I know you can install a remote start, refer to begining of my post, “If you’re extra lazy like I am.”

yeah if you are already going in. but if you just want to do it whenever, the carista subscription is only a few dollars for a week and you can DIY and skip the dealer.

Also, if you do the trial yearly subscription, it is free for one week. Be very careful if you do this though. The subscription will auto-bill at the same time of day that you started it, and on Android, you have to cancel from within Google Play, not in the Carista app. I made this mistake. . .

Just out of curiosity, has anyone compiled a list of everything to check when buying a new gen 3? I.e.- Tran fluid, steering fluid, rear diff issues, vibration fixes, etc.
I don’t have one but from what I have read there is a lot of things everyone has figured out that seems to help. Just wondered if anyone has taken the time to post all of it in one post.

Well if you start a list I will help out. I'm taking my 2016 in today because the A/C blower motor failed... Service records show this is the 2nd time it has happened. I had the rear diff, tranny, and trans fluid all fixed.

I don't have the door seal issue but that is something that would concern me, don't forget about the front control arm? whistle either.
