We have signs here in WA. that says "slower traffic keep right, except to pass" key word is PASS!!! But tons of clueless drivers continue to be selfish and inconsiderate drivers and float in the left lane!! Numb numb!!!

My wife thought i was crazy until she actually seen a sign herself here in Florida that said slower traffic keep right. (didnt say except to pass). She is from PA.

Nothing wrong with passing. Lots of people NEED to be passed. People dont know how to use cruise control or keep at a steady speed so if the speed limit is 55, they may go from 50-60 over and over... I aint got time for that. If the speed limit is 55, on a wide open road like most out here, im setting cruise control for 62'ish. And that normally has me cruising at the average speed with other drivers. Theres a difference between trying to dominate the road and getting where your going efficiently.

People not using blinkers is probably the thing that bothers me most about other drivers.

I work for Toyota and it's one of the things I show my customers. Helps break up the tension for me! Also, I always tell people who are shopping around to ask whoever else is helping them(other sales people) to put the car in reverse while moving. I always enjoy their faces. haha

Sounds cool. If reverse acts like a neutral while driving does that mean the gas pedal is disabled once you engage the camera?

Is it just for taking a quick look and then putting the truck back into Drive, or can you drive like this? What about when you stop at a light or sign?

Sorry for all the questions... This just goes against all of my common sense :)

    HAHAHA!

I can see some one trying it now... Then calling the warranty department and getting laughed at!

Guy puts truck in reverse going over 25mph then sees his transmission sliding down the road through his rearview camera!

But the tip is still good... The camera did indeed work going forward... :)

I just tell people 25 mph as a safety precaution honestly. I've done it at 20 mph or so.

Just like if you were in neutral, the engine revs up. You can do it on the highway or what not to mess with people? The purpose is unknown to me other than if you accidentally were to hit the gear lever and push it into reverse.

It possibly could! Should have put a disclaimer saying try at your own risk. Just don't be a dummy like with anything and nothing bad should happen!

Does anyone else notice that if you leave your truck running and step out, that if you grab the steering wheel upon entering that the engine revs up a little?

Also, I have the following concerns about water:

There is a lot of water, like condensation, that drips off (near) the engine area, like an AC would, even if you haven't been running the AC. I also notice a lot of water in the tail pipe upon startup (smoke) and shutdown (dripping out of tailpipe). (I think this might be catalytic converter caused but seems excessive.)

Are these known issues, okay or what?

I think it revs because the power steering pump uses engine power to assist you turning the wheels and once you grab on the steering wheel and you move it a bit it lets the hydraulic fluid flow and the power steering pressure sensor let's the pcm know to adjust the idle. I think every car equipped with a pcm does this. Someone pls correct me if I'm wrong
