I found out the other day that pressing and holding the power button on the head unit will do a soft reset even while driving. Useful if your Bluetooth fails to connect.

...^^^... I do think that a lot of people intentionally walk in front and back of the vehicle.

Many ads on TV now .... "Call A Lawyer If A Car Bumps You" ... I have had a few people step out in front of and behind me.

They just can-NOT be that stupid or that oblivious to their surrounding.

If you have the touch sensors on the door with the tech knowledgy package and want to be able to unlock all doors with just grabbing the driver handle here is how to set it up and doing it again will set it back to unlocking just the driver door.
    * lock the doors stand near driver side and hold both lock and unlock down on key fob for about 5-7 seconds the truck will beep a few times and it will be set for you, repeat same step to go back to just unlocking driver side only

I used Rustoleum matte black grill paint on mine. Did it on a day that wasn’t windy and had some big pieces of cardboard to prevent any overspray.

I saw this post and I have to ask...did you really mean to say that if your windshield wipers are on, the headlights will NOT turn on? That sounds like a defect to me. Did you mean to say that the headlights will not turn OFF if your wipers are on? That might be a good feature. Just trying to confirm that what you typed is what you meant. Thanks.

what he meant is that the headlights don't automatically turn on with the wipers. in a lot of other vehicles, as soon as you turn the wipers on, the headlights automatically come on even if it isn't dark enough to trip the sensor to need them. with the tacoma, you can turn the wipers on but the headlights won't turn on unless it's dark enough to trip the sensor. in several states now, you have to have your lights on when your wipers are on, even if it isn't dark.

ok thanks, I have a TRD sport and it doesn't. Didn't even noticed until I got home. Didn't think they made vehicles without auto lights anymore

My Sport has auto lights. You just have to put the light switch in the Auto position.

My 18 Sport has the tech package and does not have auto headlights. I had the understanding those with the premium package had the auto headlights.

The 16s and 17s didn't have a split tech and Premium package. It was all one package called "Premium and technology". The only upgrade from that was to get jbl sound. On the 18s you can get tech without Premium.
