If you are interested, here are a couple of articles I found regarding Qi charging and credit cards. Of note it the first one which claims to have a quote from Nokia regarding this.

I noticed that if I open my door half a second before I kill the engine the door chime will sound until I do close the door, even with engine off. Any chance that can be arranged or it's on the "normal but annoying" list?

I think it's normal but annoying. Mine does it now that I'm paying attention to it more. I rarely open the door before I turn the engine off but still.

    You
    You can disable the chime.
Apps>setup>Vehicle>vehicle customization. Disregard inserted foot in mouth. Has to be disabled by dealer

And in park. Guess toyota doesn't trust us to be going like a bat out of hell and fiddling with our touch screens.

    Under "vehicle customization" I have
    Door lock settings
    Climate settings
    Light settings.
I am looking under "door lock settings" but no
Option for door chime. About to remove piezo speaker and set at 500yrds. :) I think it provides warning tones for BSM & CTA.. so I would prefer to temp disable but I am flexible:)

Shows it on page 595 of owners manual. It was a check box if I remember correctly X in box for on. Not at my truck right now. As soon as I can I'll hunt it down for you. Oops my bad. It has to be disabled at dealer.

No worries.. I did notice if ya push in the door close button (rubber one on door jam above tire sticker) that it shuts it off. Pain every time but until I get to dealer, that's it..

If this was already talked about, I apologize. But I washed my truck to get the dust off a couple days ago. Noticed a button deal, drivers side by your left knee almost at the bottom of the dash. I forgot all about it until I was sitting here reading some of this thread. I can get a pic if no one knows what I'm talking about

    It's on a trd OR

Take a pic so we can be sure but I'll bet it's your TPMS reset button.

I'd be willing to bet your right. Looked like it had the tire psi dash symbol on it, also had a +/- on it?

Electric replacement versions of traditionally mechanical and hydraulic systems provide weight reduction. That equals better fuel economy. I take my spare and jack out too. I have AAA anyway so there's no need to haul around that extra mass all the time.

While scrolling through the information screens, there is a blank one - anyone figure out how to change it to show another page of actual information?

    ? I'm not getting this...
headlights do not turn on when the windshield wipers are on....
raining at night....what's a guy to do?

Your headlights do not turn on when the windshield wipers are on. This is normal and a feature that was left out of the Tacoma on every trim as even my Limited doesn't have it.
