maybe that's what's supposed to happen, but it doesn't. My 2013 worked that way, but the 2016 is different.

Has anyone experienced the hill start assist in action? On a steep incline (45%) the hill start assist does not stop the vehicle from rolling backwards, but the VSC warning light flashes and a strange clicking sound occurs. On my off-road anyway. Apparently it controls the power to the rear wheels do you don't spin the tires but does not prevent the truck rolling backwards. On my list to ask dealer about

Just tried it on mine and they stayed active for a couple minutes. I would assume the engine has to have been started not just put in the ign position.

Does anyone know how to mute the navigation voice guidance? I know I can use the volume knob to lower the voice, but that also lowers my music.

Nav question. What is the easiest way to mark your present location as a favotite (or as a "destnation" to use to return to later)

Within the Nav itself is normally a little volume icon - don't remember the screen (not in the truck at the moment). Next time voice navigation is engaged the icon should appear and you can adjust the volume.

There is a speaker icon on the nav screen while navigating, but pressing it only repeats the last navigation voice prompt. Man, I wish Toyota went with with Android Auto/Apple Car Play instead.

When that shock is wrapped in a spring they do, and it was mentioned it would not work anyways.

Go into setup, press Voice. On the next screen change the voice volume to what you want. It will stay that way until the headunit is reset (removing power, pressing the "on" button for a few seconds, or if the unit reboots itself due to a software glitch).

Will that mute only the voice guidance "while navigating" or ALL voice feedback prompts (like a voice prompt using the steering wheel button). I'm really surprised there isn't a quick voice mute button on the screen. I'll give this a try, thanks!

I believe it sets the volume of all voice prompts. The downside is you cannot do it while the Nav is active and (I think) you have to be stopped to change the setup options. Misguided safety precautions as Toyota doesn't believe that someone in the passenger seat can press the buttons.

Is there any way to disable the S mode so that it goes into drive only?

The entune with the app suite is optional on the SR5 and below which is what has the navi plus a bunch of other stuff. If they do not come with the entune plus app suite, you have to download the Scoutlink app on your phone to have navi on your stero dashboard.

I reset my TPMS sensor by pushing the button by the hood release and now they won't read pressure.

I can't seem to bring the readings back up?
