Do you have the Multi Display? If so, a message pops up there. If not, there should be an indicator light in the dash. Cdn version, not sure US models.

They only included that feature in the Canadian models.

    A. My ODO/Trip reset does not turn to brighten/dim dash lights.

    B. I do not have Day Mode function for nav. (I want it!)

    What's my fixes?

No. Lights on or off will not make the ODO post turn.
    No. It's not there.

    Go into General settings.

That stalk works for my lights. It doesn't turn, just hold it one side for down, other for up. (Edit) To try be a little clearer, it just turns slightly either direction.

Twist and hold odometer reset button to dim or brighten lights.
Night mode is in options after you open navigation.

    Got the dash dimmer figured!
Forgive me, but give me the step by step. I have gone thru EVERYthing to find the day mode on nav.

Even the manual says how to get there. It's. Not. There. 2a92461f5a2956aeb80d2c1162e73582_ff78cfd1ba2a28d7b807af3a458c722432e9bdc0.jpg

For those who were asking about muting the radio, holding the mode button on the steering wheel will do the trick, as opposed to using the pause button on the display.

Also slightly off topic, I'm surprised that quite a few of the things on OP's list aren't brought up by your salesmen when you pick your trucks up. I work at a dealer and if some of the questions I see on TW (not just this thread) were asked here on a regular basis, you can be sure our GM would be reaming out some sales guys.

If I remember right, and I may be wrong here, you can only set it to full time day mode when it's in the night setting
. I've done it, just can't remember and I'm not near my truck.

Bought a new T4 in Louisiana last year. Great service as I was leaving. They have one person dedicated to going over the little functions of everything.

Been having said T4 serviced in CA, excellent service on keeping me informed. Even went to them looking for my new Taco. They new the ins/outs of all the options.

Third dealer (in Las Vegas) that I found my Taco at... Well, thankfully I'll never have to deal with them again! I knew more about the trucks on their lot than they did...

Put your hand or something over the sensor (right top of dash) and try it.

From what I can tell, your Vegas dealer unfortunately seems to be the norm

My salesman knew jack about the truck. He was going for Taco orientation the day after I took delivery.

He started to show me a few things and I told him not to bother, I already knew where the E-Brake was located..LOL
