If we can get confirmation on the resets without using the battery that would be ideal. This thread is officially a sticky so I want to make sure everything is 100% accurate.

#8, the auto lock, can be adjusted in the settings menu. You can adjust time or turn it off.

Im not sure if the flash will reset clock and settings. Ask your dealer. And from what i have read just unplugging the battery is not sufficient.

Would the dealer do this for free?
Just ask for a flash reset? I'm sure their gonna ask why and try to charge me.

A couple things I stumbled upon by accident..

Turning off (nanny features) VSC, TRAC and AUTO LSD while stopped and then getting on highway will prevent cruise control from working.

Turning odometer reset knob clockwise brightens display, counterclockwise dims it.

    Yep, sticky this thread...

Updated with the latest comments. Thanks guys! I'm trying to re-confirm everything as y'all post them. Isn't that I don't trust your input, I just want to make sure it isn't trim specific.

Another feature is when you get near the drivers side door with the key fob the interior lights will turn on (not sure if it does it in the day time too) I remember people not liking it and was questioned alot.

Also under "Things that are normal but concern owners" is the noise coming from the rear end when left parked for a couple of hours something to do with EVAP emissions? Not sure what it is exactly but I'm pretty sure someone can input on this. People kept starting threads about this.

I haven't tried it but was told by dealer, if you use clutch cancel start button cruise won't work.

as an addendum to #11 about the heated seats, I could be wrong, but at least on mine it feels as if the setting will show on, but won't actually heat up unless is senses someone sitting in the seat. the past couple morning when I let my truck warm up before driving the seat is still cold when I get in, then starts to heat up

I think that's a safety feature, most vehicles with heated seats do the same.

I'll try to confirm the lights on when near the driver's side door today. I never actually noticed that. The heated seats thing is a safety issue as the heated seats are not supposed to be running without someone in them. I'm going to assume it uses the passenger airbag sensor to determine if that side should be on and the driver side is probably based on the key fob or perhaps the seat belt. I will need to do more investigation on those.

Does anyone notice with the heated seats that the outside of your butt is cold and the middle is warm? It gives me the chills.

It appears that the heating element is centered and to the back. Setting three is so hot that it doesn't matter anyways, at least for me.

Yes, you can do this by pressing the start button twice without your foot on the brake. The car will turn on without the engine and then you can operate the windows.

Accessory mode also does that if I recall correctly. Ignition mode powers everything else like power steering.

Radio works in accessory mode (one push) but believe the power windows require two pushes for ignition mode.
