de-badged, tint front windows, led interior lights, door sill protectors, led b/up lights, 5" factory step rails, yellow turn signal bulbs, added 4 D ring tie downs. Took off the black vinyl stripes between the doors. Changed the grill - from Custom Car Grills, Finally got a tonneau cover put on. 31" light bar ( white & amber ), tailgate light bar, sunvisor covers ( to hide warning labels ), new bedside decals - still too cold to put them on tho. Flag decals to go on too, again too cold still. Got a 2 switch, switch plate to replace that useless cubby hole to the left of the steering wheel.. still to be installed ( hopefully this weekend ). Upgraded the tires to G/Y Duratracs... loving them, no plowing the driveway !!
    OK now you're swearing ... that 4 letter F ...d. word, lol.

What needs updated, I've added things as I caught them. The only things that belong in that post are the small things, not "how to turn on your car" or "how to find a seatbelt adapter to turn off the buzzer". Things like how to keep the radio on after you turn it off or how to access and change the small things that may be a little more difficult to find out since they may or may not be in the manual. The last update I did to it was on the 16th of this month.

For anyone else that does have information as you post here, if you could, please send me a PM as well with the information in the event that I do miss a post or a few pages. I don't read every single post every day since I have been catching some things that are either off topic of this post or were already in the original post. If I did indeed miss something you posted earlier that you think should be on the list, by all means, send me an PM.

I have that same humming sound but not all the time, seems to be early into the morning drive to work.

What's everyone's opinion of Carista OBD2 verses other hardware and software?

Always good practice to wear your seatbelt except if you have a long driveway as I do (over a mile, multiple gates to open and close) or running errands in a small town, no traffic to speak of, places to stop one block apart. Maybe it's just me but when I'm on a long empty gravel driveway going 10 mph I feel like Dudley Doright wearing a seatbelt. It isn't needed and feels silly. And the warning beeper does time out but it's just about as annoying as it can be.

Nothing but pleased with mine. iPhone user, and using BTLE Instead of dealing with pairing ad hoc wifi, and the option to go Android in the future is worth the slight price premium, IMO.

Didn;t see a response to this, but i had the same question prior to buying my truck.

The short answer is no. Is the remote stops working, you basically put the fob up against the button and push it to start the truck. Believe is must have an RFID chip or something long those lines in it that starts the truck. Believe it is pg 553 of the manual.

I don't have to buy the Carista hardware? This works with Carista and iOS? I'm using iPhone 6 Plus and I want to shut off the seatbelt chime because it's getting in my way while I'm texting on the freeway.

Did the same. Now if we could just turn off the alarm that sounds when the door is open with the truck running.

I can't find it in the manual anywhere but I know there is a sensitivity setting in the entune system for the automatic headlights.

Truck has to be running. Go to settings, vehicle, vehicle settings (if greyed out put in drive then back to park), vehicle customization, light settings.

I know it can be done with Techstream (dealer can do this or you if you have it).

Here's all the customization options available with Techstream. A subset can be done with the head unit.

page 592-597 of your owner's manual. You can download a copy of it in pdf form from this forum and use the search function of Acrobat Reader for "sensitivity".
