An extra 20 seconds of walking is better than a door ding that lasts forever.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
Check out the products at Zaino. Easy to apply and a shine like no other. Here's the hood of my Sport after a single application of Z-CS (wipe on and let dry)

de-badged, tint front windows, led interior lights, door sill protectors, led b/up lights, 5" factory step rails, yellow turn signal bulbs, added 4 D ring tie downs. Took off the black vinyl stripes between the doors. Changed the grill - from Custom Car Grills, Finally got a tonneau cover put on. 31" light bar ( white & amber ), tailgate light bar, sunvisor covers ( to hide warning labels ), new bedside decals - still too cold to put them on tho. Flag decals to go on too, again too cold still. Got a 2 switch, switch plate to replace that useless cubby hole to the left of the steering wheel.. still to be installed ( hopefully this weekend ). Upgraded the tires to G/Y Duratracs... loving them, no plowing the driveway !!
Not sure if this has been noted yet ... if you express up a window and an arm gets in the way, the window will stop & go back down. Nice safety feature.

Has anyone done the math on this? Seems like something is amiss (and maybe it's my math  )

I pulled into the gas station, to fuel up. I had driven 388 miles, and it said I had 42 miles left. It said my tank average was 21.2 MPG. So if I do the math, my today distance is 430 miles (travelled + left). So that means, the 430/21.2 indicates a 20.28 gallon tank, which is close enough to the spec. BUT it also indicates that I should have used (388/21.2) 18.3 gallons, and should have had 3.2 (21.5-18.3) gallons left in the tank, and therefore should have been able to replace the 18.3 gallons that I had used. All of that makes sense to me. Now for the rub... I was only able to squeeze 16.4 gallons in.

WTF? Am I really getting 23.65 MPG? I don't think so...

I'm thinking I have close to 2 gallons left at the zero mile point

That's about what I think too. However, how could I get 430 miles at 21.2 MPG, and STILL have that much left?

The computer mpg is estimating. It is in no way exact and is constantly changing. You cant figure it out with math like that.

Love the post took a while to go through it all specially with a lot of the same things being asked over and over. The off topic stuff doesn't help. It would definitely help to clean up non important stuff. Just like what I'm writing

Has anyone been able to figure out what assembly plant that as let them go with low ATF,

Is there a residual amount left in the tank, even on empty reading, that can't be pumped out by the fuel pump? And is below the outlet so as not to introduce sentiment into the system.

The answer to your question. Instead of making yet another off topic post that so irks you.

Its a thread called tips and tricks not one particular thing to search for! I don't know where you got irks from. I made a comment I guess that's wrong in your book.

This is tips and tricks. Not what low ATF. There's a hundred threads for that. A simple 'low ATF assembly' search can point you in the right direction. Or. Just start another 'low ATF' thread. Everyone else does...

Added oil filter part number and the wrench number to go with it (v6 only). Also added a leaf spring issue that is apparently a known issue Toyota is looking into per my service manager since my truck is affected and has been in the shop for 4 days now.

I am just wondering if anyone has figured out how to look at trip stats such as MPG and distance after you open the door. As soon as I open the door the info is gone and I am not sure how to view it later.

I can't recall if its been mentioned before, but for the Qi charger, If you get out of the vehicle with it running and leave the phone on the charger (say just to check the mail), the charger will turn itself off until about 5 seconds after you get back in the car.....possibly a sensor in the seat
