I am having problem with my Entune lately. Does anyone know why my web search isnt functioning. I have the Galaxy S7 Active. I had no problems with it on my HTC One M8. and I updated Entune on both the Phone and the head unit. everything works except for the web search (POI Search)

I may not be understanding this correctly, but when I do this it only affects all 4 doors when you grab the driver side handle. I still have to push unlock 2x on the fob to unlock all 4 doors.

That's a feature IMHO. When with family and in places I'm comfortable I can just grab the handle and everyone's doors unlock.

If I'm solo and in a less than the best area, where I want only the driver door to unlock and avoid undesired guests, I use the fob button once.

Such a great thread! Small correction to no.14 the small key inside fob does operate the tailgate lock (I used it in a pinch the other day). Also this is my first PTS vehicle so forgive me but if I keep the fob in my pocket and walk away from the truck while it is running it cannot be driven by someone else without the fob inside, correct? This is so convienent for leaving the truck running while you run inside the gas station, etc.

The '17 uses the fob key for the tailgate, the '16 has a separate key.

I tried leaving my keys inside after starting the truck and it let me pull out of the garage, I was expecting it to kill the engine when I shifted out of park if it didn't detect the key but it apparently doesn't care. So, I wouldn't leave it running while you run inside the gas station.

Correct, if the fob leaves the truck it'll keep running. Think it through, the fob has a battery. Imagine the fob battery dying while you're rolling down seven lanes of interstate highway at 80mph. Do you prefer the truck keep running or do you prefer the engine quit and thereby lose all power-assist to steering and brakes, maybe even locking the steering column? My vote is for the truck to keep running.

As to leaving the truck running while you walk into the gas station... just lock the doors using the hidden key in the fob. Works fine. There's still the risk that someone can pop a window, open the door and drive off. I'm not too worried about that as they only times I'd be leaving the truck running is when I had my two dogs inside. They're a pretty good theft deterrent. :D

Thanks! Yes, I hadn't tried it but was curious if it had a parking-only shift lock as a safety feature. Definitely glad it will not shut down on the highway! Haha. Makes sense that it's just a battery sensor like any other remote. Guess I'll have to invest in some canines :)

Holy Smokes! I now have heated side view mirrors. I'll admit, I've been too darned busy to read the manual and wanted/needed to melt the schnee off my side views on my 2nd girl/gen. And now on the 3rd hen... shazaaam, there it is. Thank you! That's why I joined up in this joint!

My Note 5 charges well, and quickly. But........... I have to have back end of the phone all the way left and rearward (toward the tailgate) in order for the charging to work. That's all I can offer.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
Any know if you can remove it? Useless to me, and I would rather just have a deeper cubby.
