I think Qi is just now gaining traction. The fact phone technology is not even caught up with the vehicle's technology leads me to believe this truck is actually ahead of the curve (for now). I find everything in the truck useful, and not sure what I would consider gimmicky.

So, has anyone determined how to keep Accessory Mode on for long durations (such as for a drive-in movie)? If it turns off in 15 minutes, that's not going to work!

Well, your right, my statement was off base, there really isn't a lot that isn't functional, but I'd still trade you the little arrows in the mirror to tell you someone might be back there for directional arrows that would double alert your intentions to drivers at your rear as well as remind me the directionals are on, 'cause I can't hear them clicking over the stereo and spaced them.

I actually really like the "blind spot" sensors on the highway. Assholes love to come from all directions at 80+++ and you never know when some little ricer is hiding behind you.

I think the Qi wireless charger will catch on and is a nice feature. Before having my Taco, I didn't care much for it, but now it's another story because it would be convenient in the truck. I've been looking for a Qi case that doesn't have a backup battery for my iPhone 5 to no avail. Hopefully the 7 has one as others have mentioned, but for now I'm sticking with the cable out of the center console.

So I tried both options on my way to work this morning and they both just pause the music. I expected that of the first option, but was hoping the steering wheel button would mute the sound like I wanted. Sucks, because I've been used to hitting mute to turn the music down (not off or pause) for about as long as I've been driving.

It mutes live radio/satellite, pauses anything playing from another device. Not a bad feature, really. If I'm in a drive-thru or something that interrupts me in the middle of my favorite jam, I can resume the jamming from the same place with that button. :D

I see; that explains it. Sucks because I only listen to music from my iPod. Thanks for the info though.

That's because its not muting it, its actually pausing the live radio. You can also backtrack and relisten to something if you miss it or want to listen again. There's a way to turn this off in the settings too, but why. So it takes the sound away, but because its paused, not muted.

    The Qi is pretty sketchy!!!

The slightest bump interrupts the signal, making the phone beep. Charge is pretty slow and signal is very inconsistant also making the phone beep alot, which interrupts music.. I just use a cable in the console also..
Phone is a Samsung Galaxy 6 edge.
My kid turned me on to spotify (music app) which works well with the bluetooth audio..

Will have dealer look at it when I am there.

    Avoid "extreme potholes".

Yeah, I've noticed a far slower charge cycle and more heat vs plugging in to ac or dc. This is on a OEM charger. Still waiting on my $40,000 portable one.

I have the premium tech package on my DCLBOR and when I exit there is always a beep. It seems like maybe I open the door to quick before turning off the car and the center display says door open. Is this normal? It's like so lame right!!!?!

Open it slower. Once you work out the right combo of timing and perfect speed, it stops beeping. I believe it works off the same "learning software" as the auto trans.

I wouldn't imagine that the aux plug (Inverter) in the bed would work unless the truck was running. The battery in the truck would be killed, and you be left up sh!tz creek.
