    Yeah, the prep I did on the Hurculiner was to bare metal for a bunch of it. That wasn't really the goal, but I wanted to make sure I got at *least* the clear coat off everywhere.

    line-x has a lifetime warranty. I believe it’s registered to the vin (there’s a lookup on their site). I’d goto one of their shops and let them deal with it

    It's "lifetime" but for the original owner according to their link I posted a couple posts back.

    Sounds like the OP got some really odd "advise" from someone at line-x telling them to just spray "whatever" on top of it. Doesn't sound like something line-x would say...

    Yup- same. The bed rail tops have almost completely gone bare of the herculiner, and the bed sides and bottom have held up better, but not great. But again, $100 bucks vs $700-$1000 for Line-x.. not bad..
