So I am wondering what the best way to deal with the rust under the composite bed might be? I've searched here and there and I find a few warnings to not try to take off the bed. On my 2017 SR I see the large heads of the bolts holding it on. Could I undo a few of those and maybe lift the bed up on one side enough to sand and paint? Would this open a big can of worms or just not be a viable approach due to hidden attachments down under the bed or something. Would it be something the dealer or another mechanic could easily do as part of repainting or is it a major job?
