I have 3) ring camera's, front door, east side, and one under RV shade this is aimed at my side garage walk through door. Had them for 3 years now and very happy with them. I can watch "live" any time, any where. I work nights, so always checking, plus the dog sets off the Garage cam when people walk past my house, so I will check as often as needed.

I don't know what the law is in AZ., but in CA., if you are brandishing a weapon in public, you would have 8- 10 cops at your door, they don't mess around and wait till something bad happens.

Same in AZ, brandishing, if convicted, will loose your gun owner rights + any other charges.

They give no fucks here. Its the Wild West for angry old nutjobs.

I am in Prescott Valley which has grown like crazy and a lot of weirdos have moved in. Only reason I am here is dealing with family otherwise I would never move here its turning into a phoenix suburb.

also made the mistake of talking to him, no way will I do that again it was like talking to my grandma when she lost her marbles

U live in the woods what u expect normal people ? Best advice ignore the crazy ones they do a lot of stuff just to get attention . If it becomes life treating then get the law enforcement involved and get the state to come out to do evaluation on him .

This sucks, I am also dealing with a Bad neighbor. I have been documenting with photos and video, along with calling the popo every time. Luckily in Phx we have neighborhood task force with the police dept and they have been very helpful. Still no results but I will not give up. Keep up the fight!

Nothing will be done until he hurts/kills someone. If anything is done the only one that will come out the winner is him, with a huge lawsuit. That is the unfortunate world we live in. All you can do is protect yourself like everyone said with cameras and such.

In order of ideas thus far, best one is cameras/recording any interaction you personally have. Turn on your phone if he is nearby and cam it.

Next is to involve your neighbors. Strength in numbers in terms of being heard.

Lastly, keep calling the police anytime you have any issue. Eventually they will get tired of hearing from you and do something even if grudgingly. Pulling a restraining order if he acts up again is also an idea.

Document and report. Over and over. Every time. Get the neighbours to as well.

A single report by one neighbour is not usually enough. You need to become the "crazy" one and call the cops every time.

Restraining order? That and file a report next time he does it. Get an incident and case number. Video will help too. Not sure of the laws in Arizona but in California you can take someone to get checked out if they are of danger to themselves or others. Also if they are gravely disabled. If he’s not taking care of himself (like not eating) he can be taken in. Just realize the system is overcrowded and he will be out pretty quickly
