Tips for Vinyl Wrapping your 2nd Gen Rear Bumper *With Pics*

No, I want to cover the scoop bump. Probably sort of a "V" stripe in between the valleys. Or I might get real fancy and cover just the scoop.

 

Check out the vinyl tape razor stuff. You lay this down on the hood, place vinyl over it and bam!

First time vinyl wrapping. I purchased a 2x5 roll of 3m gloss black on ebay.

 

You will do great brother! Just take your time & plan your cuts. You are working with limited material.

I ordered 5x2 like the original post and I still needed an extra foot or two to fully wrap the bumper. Pretty bummed it didn’t work for me. I did measure it and it was exactly 5ft

Wanting to do my grill surround and bumper now too lol. Anyways is it basically just like putting a big sticker on? And how's the durability over time?

 

Powder coat? I had my front bush bar done when it started rusting, a year later and it is still perfect. I am probably gonna get my rusty chrome rear bumper down as well.
