Driving to southern Utah in a few weeks and thinking about passing through this place. Any tips on what to see?

    Somewhere in the Mojave Desert...
    Vehicle:
    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
Great Basin National Park, and hike some of their trails into the bristlecone pines.

If you are traveling east from the bay area, why not take the scenic route over the Sierra and go on Hwy 4 over Ebbett’s Pass towards Markleville? Stay at Grover Hot Springs State Park and enjoy and soak, then head out into Nevada from there.
