Have any of you guys had issues with the balance of the tires being thrown off? I've gotten it rebalanced like 4 times already and every time at around 45-55 mph the steering wheel starts to shake a little. Shake goes away at 60mph. I got 16in TRD FJ wheels and 33" Baja ATZ P3 tires. Every time its been rebalanced it was off like a ounce. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Yeah after the second rebalance with the clamp on weights they used the adhesive and even that went out of balance twice. Went back again and they used the clamp on ones again. Still shaking the steering wheel. But ill look into who uses the haweka adapter to balance wheels. Thanks

I used dyna beads on a set of 35 bfgs. Worked great. The tires rode very smooth.

x2 on dynabeads. talked to luka about them and I think that's the route I'm gonna take real soon. I had my TPMS sensors transferred over to my countersteers, and when they rebalanced, I ended up with a fuckton of adhesive weights in my rim. now it's ugly as shit, and bothering me :frusty: just google dynabead... and from the sound of it, it's best to drop them in before the tire is fully mounted (vs. installing through the valve stem).

Where have you been taking it to get balanced?
How much weight total on the wheel? And have you tried rotating the rears to the front to see if it stops? I'm wondering if they weren't balanced in the first place, or if something else like alignment or tire pressure are the culprit.
My friend let me use his balancing machine and it tells you where to put the weights, towards the face, center, or the rear. His compressor wasn't strong enough, so I couldn't do the road force balance. I'll check with him to see if he has it working now.

Been taking it back to 4wheelparts since i got it lifted there. I got 2oz clip on on the drivers wheel and 2.75oz clip on on the pass. I was thinking about rotating them to the back but figure i would feel it in the back after. Is it possible to feel a unbalanced wheel in the rear?
    My alignment is
    Left. Right
    camber .7 .6
    Caster 2.1 2.6
    Toe. .06 .06

I got LR upper control arms. And gonna get alignment from island brake sometime in the future to get the camber at zero.

And my tire pressure is 40psi. Brought it down from 45 which they had it set at. Came a little better.

I had balancing issues. I finally took them to my friend at Rons and he road forced it for me. After that it was all good.

The plus with the beads is that the balancing makes up for tread wear. Using weights only compensates for the tire while it is on the machine. Once you start to drive around the tire becomes out of balance due to tread wear.

Is there a shop that carries those beads or gotta buy online and bring them in with you? Who install the beads for you? Im afraid the shops gonna put too much lube and get it inside the tire.

Same here. Ordered online than installed them myself. The beads are small enough to fit through a valve stem without a sensor. Otherwise break the bead at home or take them to a shop.

Can it be installed thru the TPMS valve stem? The web site says it cant if its a integral part of the valve stem

yeah, they fit in the stock TPMS valves, it just takes a long time...it'd work better with a pressurized feeder...I was actually considering making one because of how much of a headache I had.

I also ordered the longer filtered cores, they fit just fine.
