80 PSI max in that size is usually E rated , no ?

If I'm mistaken let me know .

you would be talking about 12 ply i believe. that sounds better.
my stock tires would be a 4 ply. can only have like 35 pounds of pressure.

an 8 or 10 ply would be like a 60 pound pressure.

if your max tire pressure is 80, try putting 77-78 in. i dont know why they would only put 45 in. shit, maybe they put a higher grade tire on? bonus for you if they did!!

Our trucks are very light compared to what that 33" tire should be on.

Go to discount tire. If it's a balance issue, that should fix it. You can always stand behind the balancer and make sure it's zero'd out :p And don't go to jail. Not a good idea.

Yeah, I'd run max 45-50 on those. All you would get from that would be reduced tire life and a shitty ride.

    Also, CHALK TEST FTW :D

    I run 36 in my E rated Hankook ATm's that have a max PSI of 80 .

45-50 is still WAY too much .

If the truck feels like it's floating or requires a lot of steering input to keep it straight you need an alignment.

Like I said, if you're into over-inflating your tires, I would run MAX 45-50 psi. I personally run anywhere around 32-38.

Why would anyone want to overinflate their tires unless you are hauling some thing heavy , and having said that , the Tacoma is capable if hauling it's maximum payload on the crappy P metric tires it is sold with , 45-50 psi in E rated tires is just dumb

How come almost every suspension or wheel problem post I read on the net, starts with "I recently modified..." ??

The ice feeling is just a bit of your tire contacting the road. REDUCE the PSI to 31-32 and use the chalk test and it will fell much better bud.
