New to the forum so why not start off with a tough one. Whats everybodies opinion on best tire. Probably used 50/50 on and off road, not extreme off road (i work in road construction so mainly dirt roads and dirt work areas) but also some four wheeling. I currently have bfg km2 mud terrains and dont like them. And go.

    Welcome to tacomaworld.
The "best tire" is different depending on our $& needs sooo...
We have some great threads on this same topic. Usually you will learn alot more researching yourself than hearing a bunch of biased posts.(most members including myself will just say the tire we run for our needs and budget) Read through this link and weight the price vs looks vs tread life vs off road capabilities. .. that is how you will get what's best for your particular situation.

    I'd Start here.. and go...

I have run the trail grapplers for a couple of years now on my 3/4 ton and 1 ton diesels when i worked in the oil field and loved them. Took daily abuse of lease roads and got a lot of miles out of them, almost 60,000 on a 1 ton dually, but the last set i had didnt seem to last nearly as long and have heard other people say the same thing. I guess just havent even considered anything different in a few years, was more curious if somethin new had come out that people where having good luck out of.

Take a look at MasterCraft courser MXT they are a lot cheaper than Cooper's or nitro's. Not saying they are not good tires but buying LT tires that cost as much as 1 ton tires is kinda o_O
