    All,

Might need tires soon and I was bored. I had a long meeting last week and decided to create a google sheet with several tires from 31-34in. I like data and it is nice when I have it too look at. Link is below. In essence got manufacture, model, size, load, weight and costs... Most of the data is accurate. I have found some delta's.
I prefer a light tire, prob 8 ply, load c, with good AT abilities. I used my truck mostly for hunting, camping and such.
    Hope this helps the crew.

That is an impressive spreadsheet, you musta been hella bored!

But tires are like underwear, guns, spouses etc..
It really depends on what YOU need and what YOU are willing to spend
Everyone is going to have their own criteria, their own $$ parameters, and own unique desires [driving habits] and as you see there are lots of choices

    eg:
Where I live, it rains alot so I need tires that can deal with that - this is my primary concern on anything I drive..
I also do not bat an eye at the tire bill b/c I feel like tires are one of the more important investments in your vehicle b/c they affect braking distance, handling, traction - all the things your vehicle needs to be safe/secure on the road.

I have Duratrac/s on my Taco for a variety of reasons - good off road; good in the pouring rain; they can handle winter stuff when it appears; they are chunky enough that a nail in the tread doesn't do damage [construction debris] but they are noisy for sure - it just doesn't bother me - they do what I need them to do

I have had Continental DWS on my BMW 128i for the past like 8 sets of tires b/c they are hella grippy + last till past the wear bars, almost dangerously so and do well in wet conditions - I switched to Michelin Pilot Sports for one iteration, the rubber was too hard, didn't have enough feel and it felt like the car was gonna slip/loose traction way too easy, I hated it..

Go to Tirerack.com and read the reviews of the tires you are thinking about - that should help narrow it down

6hr dial in. So, I had some time to kill. Agreed. I just wanted as much data as I could in one spot. I have duratrac's too but they are cheddar to replace. Luckily I should be able to wait till next fall before I spring for new shoes.

Impressive spreadsheet. Only thing lacking is price comparison

I will say I only used a handful of websites for pricing.
