Tire Choices

Hey guys my question today is what tires are the best? I want something that's not very loud I wont be going offroad besides my long dirt driveway. lol. but I was looking at the Hercules trail digger mt's. that's the only mud terrain tire I was looking at but tire size is either 275/70/17 or 285/70/17's. Thanks for the help

 

if your not offroading much, a mud terrain is probably overkill. id suggest looking at the nitto terra grappler (or other similar aggressive all terrain)

 

So your looking for the best MT tire, but not very loud, and your not going off road? Is this a serious question?

 

I was looking at allterains and that was the only mud tire I was looking at

 

One thing I can tell you, my new terra grappler G2's are definitely louder than my old Firestone Destination AT's....

 

Are they really loud or just a little roar

 

No, not super-loud, but I can hear them. I didn't realize how quiet the Firestones were until I installed the Nitto's. Not bad enough to buy a different tire, but you will hear them. Other than that, they look great & I think actually ride a little more smooth/comfortable than the Firestones....
