    Is it normal?

I've got a Cooper Discovery ATP w/ 6k miles and I just noticed there are 2 crease like lines extending from rim to tread. The creaseas are about 90 degrees apart from each other.

I also noticed one of my Hankook ATM's w/ 35k has a crease mark as well.

Can't really see it in a pic but I can feel it when I run my hands across the sidewall.

Can't tell for sure without seeing pictures, but slight lumps in the sidewall that extend from the wheel to the tread are a normal part of radial tire construction. It's where the sidewall plies overlap. Some manufacturers are better about hiding them, but it generally isn't a sign of poor construction quality.
