Do what you will, but I support you wanting to take care of your things. That seems more like a mature “manly” way to go about things. Shit, most of the time lately, I’m not using my truck for truck things, but I still love it. In fact, I’d want the truck even if it never touched a dirt road or had anything in the bed.

Anything silicone based will actually help "moisturize" the rubber. It's the oil based dressings that will dry, and crack rubber prematurely. Using it consistently can actually help your tires.

303 makes a tire dressing it doesn't make the tires look super black and wet slick but closer to that smooth satin finish of a new tire.

    It's alright.

I just went to Griots satin black tire spray. I really like it.

^That stuff is great. I've only used it a little and still working on using up all the Chemical Guys O-High Shine I bough in bulk years ago. But when that's gone I may switch over entirely, we'll see. I'm still pretty happy with the O-High Shine and use it on tires and the massive amount of black plastic trim on my wife's CRV. Despite the name it is not a high gloss product. It's water soluble so doesn't last forever but that also means it doesn't build up like the crap the local carwash uses. And its less streaky than 303 which I was using before that.

I also recently discovered ReTyre by Carpro. I haven't gotten to thoroughly test it yet but initial results were fantastic.

Bought Jay Leno’s silicone free brand tire dressing. No oily residue when it dries. No more hard to remove black stains on my light blue jeans when reaching into the truck bed!

That’s nice to have. I live in a very dusty climate so I want good looking, clean tires that don’t act like dust magnets!

I use the Chemical Guys VRP on my Mustang tires, non-greasy low shine stuff, the truck tires just get a good cleaning with no dressing

I wipe the tires off after I apply it to all 4. Still nice and black and a little shine on the tires. Have not used any in over a year. 1st 2 years I fought the brown stain. Was glad to see the rubber quit bleeding and I have just been washing my tires with the soapy brush at the car wash and going natural. I may do the tire gel after the next 4 days of rain ends. I like the looks of nice black tires.
