Perhaps you could educate me on the meaning of "most" without the heavy condescending tone.

I just bought the truck not exactly sure of the mods.
For the on me who didn’t get the main focus of this thread I will help you understand. Trying to find and purchase a spare that’s the same as the tires that are on the truck. I’m trying to find 1 tire & rim that isn’t too expensive.
    How can you be confused?

I know this isn’t the classified section. I was making a statement on how expensive the tire I’m looking for is.

Just to keep it real, a 20% loss is a 26in diameter tire. Or basically, an almost flat tire on a 17in wheel.

...and you have to do it 3x before it will throw a DTC.
DTC doesn't necessarily mean it will throw MIL.
    Kind of useless, IMO.

However, C1409-C1412 will throw an immediate DTC. I suspect a MIL would illuminate and disable VSC.

    Good stuff.

Just trying to put a realist spin on not worrying about a different sized spare if folks DGAF about five tire rotations. Planning for a flat for most all of us is sufficient if we just check the air in the spare from time to time.

Having a plug kit would take care of many more than that.

    Absolutely...
The way I read it, it's a 20% difference between the front tires average and rear tires average; pushing the threshold even higher than what you calculated.

Well......at least you dropped the condescension.

I thought you were going to drop some numbers on us regarding how many 16" wheels were sold versus 17" wheels. Then some data on the number of 16" replaced with 17".

Curious, will the desired spare tire size fit in the stock location?

I doubt it. 265/70-17 barely fits. I just went to 17's and I bought 5 tires and a 17' steelie for the spare.
