BTW, did you put some kind of lock on that contraption? If not, might as well put a "STEAL ME" neon sign on there, too.

Yeah, they are right. In the end, you just gotta do what makes you happy and not worry about anything anyone else says. I was just being a tool. =)

it would look better on an expedition rig IMO.
but I don't think it's hideous... it serves its purpose for off road riding

Hey Yan. It would look awesome with a topper on your bed.... Like a soft top(Look at Bilstein 5100 thread in the 2nd Gen subform-- I think a guy has about the same set up)and a lift and bigger wheels(it looks a little awkward with the stock tire on there) would look good with it as well. Its your truck, Go with what you feel...... If it makes you happy than KEEP it. Especially because its a FREE $700 tire gate. I wouldn't rock it........but just think of it this way.....Your truck is even more unique!

    2 things:

    1. Is your truck trying to be a Jeep?

    2. Does it serve some sort of a "downforce" function (like a wing, or something similar)?

Sport wheels added.
How often do you get into the bed of the truck through the tailgate? How often do you take the spare tire down?
What is going in the place of the now vacant spare tire location?
