I am trying to decide on tires and can't really come to a conclusion. I want something in 265/75r16 load range C or P metric. I drive 85% city driving, to and from work. On the weekend when I can get away, I go ride my MTB or in the winter, ice climbing and skiing. I live in UT, so it can get pretty cold in the winter but it also gets above 95 in the summer. I know the correct answer would be to run winter and summer tires but, at the moment I can't afford that.

I currently have 265/70r16 KO's with about a third of their life left, they are super slippery in the snow.

I have been researching and looking at the:
    Cooper Discoverer ATW
    Yokohama GEOLANDAR A/T G015
    Continental TerrainContact A/T

which of the three would you go for?

I know lots of people recommend the KO2s but they don't come in load C in that size.

Thank you for your time and knowledge.

Are you limiting your choice to those three or are you open to other choices?
Like Hankook Dynapro's or Nokian Rotiva's, both a value priced tire with a great reputation, at least around here.

I have the cooper discoverer at3's and just have my first snow experience and they were great. Not much snow though only about 3-4 inches which is still pretty decent, but really like them. Great smooth running tire on the highway, quiet and great wet traction as well. Just my two cents

Just the essentials and no extra fluff.
Cooper ATW, or if you're open to other suggestions, the Nokian Rotiva.
