I’ve seen both in action and…. They both inflate tires. Set your digital pressure and press go. Wait until it kicks off and move to the next. I have the Dewalt and like it. I rented a travel trailer once and he had the Milwaukee. Can’t say I saw a difference in the two other than the Dewalt being a little bigger. The Dewalt does have a nice inflatable mode so it pumps a lot of air for rafts etc.

I have the Dewalt. I think corded chargers are going the way of the Samuri. Runnings always has good deals and free batteries around black Friday. At work I love the 60V batteries. Go all day, charge in an hour.

I have a Viar 70p and i've used the absolute piss out of that thing. Absolute flat tire to full in a couple of minutes. Quick air ups are a breeze - 20-30 seconds. Will buy another one when it dies, if it ever does (have been beating the shit out of it for almost 10 years now).

I don't think this type of gauge works with the 88p. I think these need a tank type compressor that builds up pressure that can be released whereas the viair is constant flow. Like if you attached one of those and didn't pull the trigger, all the pressure would build up in the hose.

Does the Viar fit in the bed storage box?

Viar 300P. You're gonna want that one if you got 33s.

I would stray away from that DeWalt if you plan on using it to air up your tires more than once just because of how slow it is. I aired down about 10psi more than my friend, who was also on stock tires...and I finished airing all my 33s back up and he was just barely finishing one tire with that Dewalt compressor. If you're just using it to top off a few PSI it may be great, but if you gotta put some decent amount of air in...grab a chair and a beer or two!

I don't really get the cordless compressors if you're just using it for tires. They're handy, sure, but not completely up to the task. You also need to make sure that the battery is always charged. Murphy's law says when you need it you'll have forgotten to charge the battery.

The battery in your truck is always right there, and hopefully, always charged.

For the price and speed I'd still rather just use a couple alligator clips of the truck battery and use a real compressor.

I have the larger Pittsburgh inflator, which is closer to the cost of the Viar you referenced: So far I have no complaints. I do see it as more of a temporary solution until I decide on an on-board system, but so far it hasn't let me down.
As someone else mentioned, one that clips directly to the battery will be better. Also the smaller Pittsburgh only comes with a 5' air hose, while the larger ones comes with 25'.
The pump and hose in the included carrying bag fit nicely behind the rear seats.

The Dewalt is corded and battery powered. It is easy just set pressure and walk away. I paid $80 bucks but have around 500$ worth of batteries. Its really nice having long lasting batteries to run Fan, radio, compressor, and camp lights and be able to charge in 1hour. It works for me. I wont have 33s for another week or two but I will do a quick video.
