    Hello,

I was wondering if someone might be able to help me.

I recently helped a friend change a flat. He didn't have a tire jack so I used the one that came with my 2011 Tacoma.

I have no clue why, but my jack will not completely return to its compact size. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know how to fix it? Only half of the jack will retract.

    Please help!?

Lots of these jacks have broken on the very first use. I carry a bottle jack from a 1 ton Ford truck. They are dirt cheap in junk yards.
