OK Taco world....I know that there are plenty of threads discussing tires/liftkit set ups and I have read through several. However, I have not found an answer to my specific question.
So I want to add slightly larger tires to my 2017 Sport Crew cab long bed 4X4. So, can I add P 285/70R17's up from the stock P 265/6517's without any lift or cutting and if I have to lift how much would be necessary and still not do any cutting? What say you TocoPeeps?

I have read the 255/85R16 (33") can fit without a lift but would still require some trimming when locked out turning and enough flex off road. Everything I have read has said even with a 2" lift P 285/70R17's will rub. Seems to be the nature of these Tacomas. Lots of good info out there, just lots of reading through it. Seems like most 285 owners end up doing a CMC and removing fender liners.

Says searched, then wants to know if 33's fit on stock truck o_O

You will need a 2"+ lift and most likely remove mud flaps, cab mount chop, fender liner modification and possibly new wheels.
