I've just started experiencing loud road noise from my tires (hankook dynapro atm) over about 50 MPH. The tread wear has been great with these tires I'm at about 44K and there is about 5-8K left on them. The have been balanced and rotated. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything I can do about it? OR do I have to suck it up and get new shoes for the taco?

Nope... Have 24,000 miles on mine.. they are perhaps just over 50% worn... They were silent new, and as they wear, some tire hum can be heard, but no where near the noise of a mud terrain tire, like the Cooper Discoverer STTs I had on my '05.

mine got loud at 40k. Still running them and I have almost 50k on them now. Hard to toss a good tire. They have never failed me. I rotate them at everyother oil change. Still lots of tread left.

I have 15,000 on mine. Wearing great. Still look new. I have a slight hum between 40 and 60 mph. Not bad though. Love the tire. With the radio on, I can't even hear it. When I was looking at these tires on Discount Tires website, I read some comments about a hum developing after a couple thousand miles.
