I'm still trying to get over the low pressure tire doesn't cause any issues other than a flat post.

if you regularly check your tires PSI and observe your TPMS warning light you wont have flat spot, its not someone elses respondsibilty to keep your tires inflated.

To be fair, he never said that. Whether you have a plug in your tire or not, you could get a leak at any moment. The need to be aware of your tire pressures is always there, and TPMS makes it very easy.

Ive used plug kits for years and never had an issue, if installed right they work great and save the tire from all them little nails on the road.

    I mean… it’s a Ford, you don’t care
Id plug it then start looking for new tires personally. 2 plugs and some cement.

Everyone has TPMS and checks them every 30 minutes on a 6 hour drive.
    Got it.

    Yeah.
Yeah, plugging tires was acceptable and worked fine for years. Then all of a sudden it's no longer acceptable. I call BS. I've plugged several nail/screw/staple holes and never had an issue. The tread is not likely to last long enough for things to deteriorate to the point of failure -- and when a tire gets that old, it's dangerous plug or no plug.

Because they're a portion of the cost of black/colored bags. It used to be my job to buy trash bags in bulk. I saved a fortune buying clear as opposed to black/colored bags. THAT is the reason.

That reminds me of my old green ford ranger. I put some brand new Michelin LTX tires on it, the next week hauled a load of old tile to the dump, and picked up so many nails I had to put at least two plugs in each tire. Most of them had to be redone at least once to get the leaking to stop. Once none of them leaked, it seemed fine. I drove it for another year, and sold it to a guy in my neighborhood. I still see it running around with the same tires on it.

I went to NYC for this last 9/11 ceremony. There IS a lot of homeless there! I live in a small town and I don't think we have a single homeless person here.

I have been in the automotive business for over 30 years.Started out at a gas station doing tire repairs with plugs, never a problem, also worked for 2 Big chain tire store, where patching was the only excepteble repair,(oh and if not patchable quess what you need a new tire) other then the 2 big chains i had always worked for small mom and pop shops that do plugs.Without exaggeration i have plug thousands of tires, some with multiple plugs.NEVER HAD A TIRE FAIL CAUSE OF A PLUG.

TPMS's just make people lazier, used to be you check your air pressure when you fill up with gas>look at your tires conditions while your checking your air. Ya know, being aware of your vehicles condition.
NOW why would i check my tires a can check my FB while my car is filling up.
