I got sport and my buddy has off road.

Sport does hsve tpms, but wont show the pressure on the screen. You will get yellow light if your tire pressure is low.

My buddys off road shows the pressure on the screen. OR has reset button when you change tires/wheels, sport does not.

    Hope that helps.

    Good luck and congrats!

There is a place on the Toyota website to enter your vin and get specifications for your build. May Help?

Doesnt tell me about tpms damn it.

Maybe its a Canadian thing... our TRD Sports get the basic none display TPMS and the OR get the more advanced setup.

Im assuming the US TRD Sport has the in dash display and set button.

According to Toyota's website. For 2019 this is the trd sport and trd sport upgrade.

    Tpms isnt an option.

I just did my vin look-up. TPMS is listed on my spec's. If it wasn't listed on yours - you probably don't.

You could always lower the pressure and let it sit for a while (not suggesting driving it that way).

All U.S. sold vehicles made after 2007 MUST have TPMS. It's federally regulated. Not a choice. Not an option. You're vehicle is a Canadian model? Maybe that's why it doesn't have it. Not sure how it sold and titled in the U.S. though without meeting federal regulated equipment.

Rubber or metal valve stems do not determine if you have tpm sensors in your wheels. Most newer vehicles use rubber stems with brass inserts that the sensor attaches to via a screw.

I think the Pro is the only Canadian model with TPMS.

I have a 19 Sport with the upgrade pack and I can confirm I do have tpms equipped. I have the reset button, and the central display depicting how much pressure each tire has. I'm from the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario. Maybe it's not so much a Canadian thing as maybe your particular area??

Explains why i have no button, no screen in the Imid display and why i didnt get an error when i aired the tire down.

    Thanks for the input/help everyone!

Someone mentioned earlier (might be the OP), that the TPMS is useless (for him at least).

I have come to like it for airing down for trails. There is a about a 5-10 second delay on screen updates, but I can drop two tires at a time on one hose and watch the screen as I go.

The better feature is running miles and miles of washboard, and watching my tire pressures react as they heat up from sidewall flex. I will slow down a bit and the pressures either stabilize or actually go back down a notch. I'm only talking a change of 3-4 PSI over all from the lowered to starting point.

The only gripe I have is that I have 5 matching aftermarket wheels and tires that I do 5 tire rotations with. I have to drop the spare in the garage, hit reset and go drive a bit for the truck to figure out which tire of the 5 programed in is on what corner. If the spare is anywhere on or near the truck, it will never figure it out and instead just give up and error out with a yellow low tire icon flashing.

This is exactly what I see. I know I have Tpms because I have the reset button and I just swapped tires I’m sure they would have told me I don’t have tpms. But I don’t have it on the display? Seems crazy that any 2021 vehicle would not show tpms on the display?
