    Hi,

I have had an issue with the TPMS light on the dash flashing for a bit then going solid (its been doing this for almost a year). Research said that it was the TPMS sensors not working.

Well I just had my tires replaced at Discount Tire and I also had them replace the TPMS sensors. But as I was driving back home, the light stared flashing again.

Got any ideas on what the issue could be?

I assumed they did. I know they reset the TPMS thing on the dash itself.

Have you checked air pressure in the spare? Was it also replaced?

Flashing and then going solid means one or more of the sensors are not programmed into the TPMS ecu.

I don’t believe second gens allow more than 4 tpms sensors at a time

The last year the spare had a sensor was either 2008 or 09. My 07 has 5 sensors and I have to check the spare occasionally. The OP's 2014 won't have one in the spare.

Take it back to Discount Tire. One of the new sensors is not programed.

05-08 had 5 sensors, somewhere around 09 they went to 4.

Sounds like either they didn't program the sensors correctly or one or more is bad/incorrect.

I took it back and it appears that one of them was bad. Glad it's not spare tire related.
