    Hello All.

I recently tried to have the Toyota dealer mount five new wheels and new tires with the Tire Pressure Monitors. I figured I should know if the spare was at the right pressure as well, right?

But I was told by the dealership that the TPMS can only be programmed to work with four tires.
    Is this true?

Didn't the 09 Tacomas have a TPMS in the spare?

    Just wondering.

    Thanks.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
06-08 has the TPMS in the spare...none in 05 and 09 started the removal of the TPMS spare, IIRC.

So is it possible to get the computer to accept the spare TPM?
Can I get an older TPMS computer or something like that?
Or is this just too much work?

    Q~
