Maybe you had the screen on your previous truck?

Doesn't seem like anyone with an SR has the menu which shows individual tire pressure.

I don't see how that is even possible. The ecu does not care or know when the sensors are moved from one wheel to another. No tire shop had any ability to even access the tpms menu.

No SR has has the menu activated, yet you say yours had it. Just doesn't seem plausible.

According to the Toyota website, the SR doesn’t have that option:

Someone in this thread said he was able to unlock it when he bought an aftermarket stereo for his SR. Basing my bad theory on that.

Thank you. I went on their site and didnt see this under options for the 2022. I know it sounds crazy, but somehow i had it. At least this gives me peace of mind that if i did have it, I shouldnt have.

Well yes, if you have an aftermarket deck that has ODBII plug, you can access a ton of info (including trans temp, intake temp, tire pressure, etc) from the deck itself.

As far as an aftermarket deck that will 'enable' a factory menu from in the dash--not possible.

Did you have an SR5+ loaner or came from a different car that had individual tire pressure by chance?

Now im second guessing my memory, but I havent driven another car / truck since my old one over 2 months ago.

Greatly appreciate the responses on this. Apparently I'm losing my mind. At least if i am, I have closure now.

Steels and alloys use slightly different sensors. The angle of the valve stem is different.
I forget which is the steeper angle, steel or alloy. I’ve read that you can flip them upside down and they will work in the situation where they wouldn’t fit in the normal position, but don’t see how that would cause a screen to go missing.
You’ve done a great job taking in the prevailing consensus that your truck didn’t have the screen to begin with, despite vividly remembering it being there!
The mind does funky things to us some times, and I’ve definitely been there! That’s why I suggested checking out other SRs earlier. Simply because I know myself, and this situation would drive me crazy without some kind of closure, if I were in your shoes.
