I'm a new member and need some help. Purchased a used set of factory wheels with tires to replace what is currently on my 08 Taco. The wheels came off an 06 4Runner and are an exact match to what is currently on the truck. What will I need to do to get the system to recognize the tire pressure sensors in the new set of wheels? Thanks.

It's a bit old from 06 is 10 years or longer...not sure how long those TPMS batteries last. If you do decide to stick with the same TPMS for now... America's tire or any other place should have a tool that will be able to just read the ID and then using the OBD port put that information in. I just recently did this...I got tires and alloy wheels so I got new TPMS sensor and they did it for me. It took them a few minutes and I asked for a print out of the ID in case I needed for the future. I should have recorded the ID before installation and try to do it myself, but it was easier to use a dedicate tool that the tire shops have.
