Hi there- One of my tire pressure sensors has a leak from corrosion. The mechanic said there was a repair kit that might work or would need to buy a new one for $95 or so. My question: Where would be the least expensive place to look for a new one or has anyone had to replace or repair one. Or is there another option. Thanks

    cheers

Too many to list. See build page. Link in signature
$95 is insane. You can get a "rebuild" kit for $5 as Americas tire company. Its just a new seal and washer basically. For $95 you can purchase a brand new sensor. Mechanic is ripping you off. Go to Americas tire co and see what they say

You might try a tire shop in your area. I was quoted $60 for one from my local shop, but they are a western region outfit (Les Schwab).

The stealership wanted $300 for a new sensor put in.
Big O Tires quoted me $150.
I think the $60 range is for fixing the one you have with the new washers, if it works.
I find electical tape on the red light works for free....
