Tire pressure sensors

I got the same issue , I just changed the rim this morning and used the same tpms no sensor light is on and it will not reset. I am not quite sure why it would lose its communication with the truck and need to be reregistered. Very confused by this since you can disconnect the batteryear and you don't even losee your radio presets.

 

There should be a reset button for the tpms sensor in the cab. I think under the steering wheel. But yeah shouldn't have to do anything.

 

Does it show on the multi screen or does tire show zero?

I didn't see the passenger side step. I was like damn gotta jump in and hope u make it. Cause it's a long way down.

 

On the multi display screen there are no numbers just the segmented line for each tire

 

So no tires show pressure on the screen? If not I would reset the tpms with the button. If that doesn't do it have them reregister them.

Press and hold the reset button in the glove compartment until the TPMSicon blinks slowly three times. Wait a few minutes for the system to record each tire's pressure, and turn the engine off

Already tried to reset it to no avail. Have to wait until next week, the shop I went to doesn't have the software for the 17's yet. He said he just got software for the 16's this week.

Roflmao, I will go look, but then why does the button say "set" with tire symbold. Yup nothing in the glove box except space.here is a pic of the set button

 

I know. I just went out and looked, too. God damn Google. It's not just FAKE news anymore.

 

BTW when I depress it to reset it in the on position it will only blink once, not 3 times as stated here and in the owners manual
