What are some creative ways that members on here have figured out how to display tire pressures? Not sure if there’s a aftermarket device or other things that can be used.

On my aftermarket head unit with an iDataLink Maestro RR you can display the individual tire pressures.

I also have an OBDLinkMX+ and using the app I believe I could see the tire pressures. Haven't played with that enough to confirm, but you can see lots of info that way.

I have this OBDLink MX+ and it displays the tire pressures.
Only down side is that it won't display anything else such as trans temp-etc when TPMS is selected.

The newer ScanGauge can show tire pressures, do note that 2nd gens don't store tire position only sensor IDs #1-#4 (#5 prior to 09).

I have a very early 2009. My TPMS light is on, but the pressures are ok. I have a scan gauge 2 and when I select the tire pressure on one of the readouts, it changes every few seconds. Is it cycling thru all four tires?

I'm just going to take it to Discount tire and let them fix it, but I'd still like to know more about the Scan Gauge and the pressure sensors.

Pretty sure he was referring to the newer scan gauge III. The SGII is old, it debuted in 2005.

Unsure, I never sent mine in to have it updated so it can do TPMS but tire pressure will increase and decrease slightly as the temperature of the tire changes.
Sensors can also get flaky when they get old.

The newer SGIIs can do TPMS, older ones can be sent in to have the firmware updated to do it but I never sent mine in.

Here is the correct procedure for reseting your tire pressure sensors:

If you normally inflate your tires to 35 PSI and you want to be alerted when your tire pressure is 30 PSI or less, then you would first DEFLATE ALL 4 TIRES to 30, then turn your key to "accessories", push the TPMS reset button untill it stops blinking. Then inflate your tires to 35, start the truck, and then the TPMS warning light should turn off.

    Hope this helps!
