I try to split the difference between the suggested number on the door frame, and max number on the tires. Mine will usually be between 35-38 PSI. Three years ago I drove from GA to CO to elk hunt. I spent most of the week on dirt roads that were frozen in the morning, but the top 2-3" would thaw and turn into a slippery, muddy mess by noon. I lowered PSI down to about 30 PSI, which is the suggested number on the door. Traction improved considerably.

But I lost about 2 mpg on the 1st tank on the drive home. I'd forgotten to air back up. After going back to 35 PSI for the rest of the drive home fuel mileage returned to normal.

This type of stuff goes on in most Forums. Childish stuff here. But the best advise money can buy. It has helped me for sure. There really are good people here. Super great bullying on the Trapshooters.com Forums from the Moderators to the Members. Always great entertainment there !!
Please let me be the first to welcome you !!! Regards Sir

When some of the comments are far worse than the post as far as trolling goes…

I mean, it's a shit post. We all know he's just trying to get to 50 posts. At that point it's just a useless thread. There are plenty of "tire pressure" threads. I don't understand why it's so hard to get to 50... You can do that in a couple days just browsing random off topic stuff. This forum is yuge. I kinda feel sorry for anyone that believes these are genuine questions.
Where I live, there are hutterites. They are like Amish but use technology (like driving trucks and such). I could see these guys doing some shit like this.

I have no idea if the guy is asking what he deems a real question or if he’s getting his post count up, I don’t follow the guy around like apparently some do lol. Thanks for the sympathy though

I don't either... it's literally discussed earlier in the thread tho and in the other thread they started they admitted it's just for post counts. Wasn't trying to be rude to you. Just pointing it out.

37 psi seems to be my sweet spot for gas mileage and not over inflated to get bad tread wear
