2014 Tacoma TRD

Alright, first time actually researching tires and not just going in and dying I need new tires... I am looking at either adding a level kit or just biting the bullet and getting an actual lift. But question is Im looking at BFG A/T KO2's and comparing the prices.
LT265/75/R16 123R E1 RWL go for $167
LT265/70/R16 117S D1 RWL go for $231
Now I know its a difference in the load range, also the size is 1" bigger in the cheaper tire, but really what is the difference? Thanks

Also any opinions on lift tire combo would be great. '14 TDR Off Road
