Ok, I have a 2008 PreRunner DoubleCab 2wd. It's the base model and does not have a lift. I just bought new wheels (Moto Metal 955 black) and new tires (BFG A/T 265-75-16). After searching on this forum I thought that these were the biggest tires that I could fit on my truck without any rubbing. Well, I was wondering why these tires were rubbing a little on the mud flap and the plastic in the front of my truck. Does this have to do with the Moto Metal wheel? The other option I had was going with the 265-70-16 but these tires look like they are basically the same size as the 245-75-16 that is already on there. I'm going to stick with the bigger size and just remove the mud flap. But I was wondering if anyone else had that problem? Thanks.

yes this has to do with the wider wheels. if the 265/75's were on stock wheels they wouldn't rub at all. oh by the way, lets see some pics of the new kicks and wheels

stock wheels are 17x7.5 i do believe. not sure what your backspacing is with the 955's but mine is 4.5 compared to 5.5 stock so all in all my wheels stick out an extra 2.5". should be fine though. might "feel" the road more than you did stock.
