Michelin's are wayyyyyyy overrated. Pretty non-existent in the Off Road world.

Yep. WallyWorld used to autolink to Walmart, which used to make me laugh. Amazon still does.

I'm not sure that overrated is the right word? But, there has always been more affordable options that were rated as well.

You're right about the AT side. For my bike though, I'm having a hard time thinking about anything but Michelins. Of course there, they are priced the same.

From too many bad experiences, I personally say fuck Pirelli and Dunlop. :D

Our 2019 Limited came with Michelin LTX's and I despise them. They have been super rough since the day we drove it off the lot. I have had them balanced by the dealer, by discount tire and road force balanced by a specialty shop. They seem to develop flat spots after being parked over night and will smooth up sometimes after driving a while. Frankly, I can't wait for them to wear out so that I can replace them.

The Goodyear Wrangler Adventures on my TRD Sport on the other hand are smooth as silk.

This was a it just snowed muddy hill climb with those tires. Trust me I've done my share of rock climbs and deep mud holes. Owed many vehicles and used lots of different tires. I know these wont conquer all terrian but I was saying I was impressed with that they did do.

Michelins are considered to be some of the best tires in the world when used for their intended applications. As far as snow and ice tires go, Michelins and Nokian's are hard to beat. Michelin aims their light truck (LT) tires at commercial and on road applications, going for good traction and excellent wear on road. Both of which they achieve. Agreed, they do not make a good off road truck tire, but they are a very advanced manufacturer in regards to rubber science and quality products.
I do find it interesting that different tire brands excel in different motive applications; Nokian or Michelin for snow tires, Continental is arguably the best road bicycle tire manufacturer, Maxxis for mountain bikes, BFG or Cooper (and others) for off road applications, Michelin for road/track motorcyles and for dirtbikes or Dual sports.... well that's a whole other can o' worms
